Lent Sunday Worship Series: The Hosea Love Story

The season of Lent is a time set apart in the rhythm of the church’s life for the people of God to reflect deeply on their spiritual condition and to invite God to do a work of renewal in their lives. During our Lenten journey this year at IBC, we will be exploring the Old Testament book of Hosea. This powerful story reveals the inexhaustible love of God for his people despite their wayward hearts. Here we will encounter both the reality of our own frailty and the life-changing power of grace.

Come join in the remembrance and celebration with egg hunts and tons of fun activities like a petting zoo, face painting, bounce houses, and carnival games.  If you’d like, bring a picnic lunch, blankets and lawn chairs as well as a dozen candy-filled eggs for each child.  This event is free and we encourage you to invite friends and family!
